OH MAN FREAKING. MARIA. I JUST. It was so obvious that the writer was like “welp I need someone to be a bitch to progress the plot guess I’ll use Maria” and I just. Maria knows and likes Coulson. She wouldn’t be a huge bitch I just. Ugh.

Yeah!! Beyond the kind of weird sex, that scene is what kind of ruined the story for me. They clearly just needed someone to be the bad guy, and Maria is like everyone’s default villain (mostly bc she’s a girl, I think). I really don’t like when author’s do that, especially when their own personal bias is so obvious.

So I’m reading this book right now, and so far it’s really fascinating! I found it at a half-priced book store in SoCal when I was down at school, and now that it’s summer I can finally start reading books for fun.

It’s a little bit cut and dry, but that’s to be expected when there’s just so much information to cover. It’s even more interesting, since there’s very few books on the history of Tibet (that I’ve found), so I’ll take what I can get.

I want to tell people to read xxxHolic and Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, because they both have absolutely fantastic art (if you can get over the over enlongated limbs) and incredibly complex storylines and character development, but I also want to save people all the pain and heartbreak.
